Tim & Stacey Walker are co-founders of Texas Flying Service. TFS is
committed to advancing General Aviation in a safe professional manner. When
called upon, Tim will safely fly anywhere in the continental US. He has a vast
knowledge of aviation and especially likes to help new pilots get started in
several GA programs. Stacey manages TFS and Two Way Communications.
Tim's a Commercial SEL, MEL & Instrument Rated Pilot. He's Director of
Engineering for KCBI Radio Network in Dallas / Ft. Worth, TX. He's also a
Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer, Certified Cable Television
Techincian, Certified Broadcast Networking Technologist, Certified AM
Directional Specialist. He holds a Technician Class FCC License and has
worked in Christian Radio, TV and Avionics for over 30 years. He's been a
Sports Producer and Engineer for CBS, ESPN, Westwood One, Host
Communications and the San Antonio Spurs.
Tim & Stacey also own a completely restored Piper Cherokee 180E. They have
two children. Their daughter, Kimberly, is a Commercial Pilot, MEL with
instrument and works as an EMT. Her husband, Brad is a pilot for a major
airline. Their son, Bryan, is a Ft. Worth Paramedic with the intent of completing
medical school.
Tim's an Angel Flight pilot with the Dallas based Grace Flight South Central.
He's also very involved with the AOPA, EAA & Young Eagles Programs.
